Apple is launching a new accessibility website to promote the accessibility resources that are built into iOS and macOS. To view this new webpage, click here.

Apple TV 4th Generation has been driving innovation across the TV platform turning any TV into a SMART TV. In the latest announcement, Apple confirmed Minecraft will be brought onto the tvOS platform before the end of this year.

Ryan Troy from Twitter was up on stage to show the future of video. The new Twitter app allows you to go side-by-side with a simple swipe to bring up your twitter feed next to the video. Twitter also announced they will provide free access to many sports, social and news digital streaming media.

Apple TV is going to be a unified TV experience offering one platform for all media streaming services. This is made possible with a new app called "TV". TV will be available on tvOS and iOS. It is also made with Siri integration.

Time to talk Mac... This week marks the 25th Anniversary of the very first Apple Notebook.

For 25 years we have been redefining what a notebook is and what it can do.

The new MacBook Pro has retina display located above the keyboard and updated keyboard. Available in Silver and Space Grey. This is the thinnest and lightest MacBook Pro ever. 13-inch MacBook Pro 23% less volume than the previous MacBook Pro. 15-inch MacBook Pro 20% less volume than the previous MacBook Pro.

Major changes are:

  • New Force Touch trackpad. 2 x larger trackpad than before.
  • Keyboard uses the butterfly mechanism just like the 12-inch MacBook (Retina)
  • Retina Display above the keyboard called Touch Bar
  • Touch ID

Touch Bar adapts to whatever Application you are in. It provides useful tools such as quick type and touch ID. You have the option to customise Touch Bar with simple preferences and drag and drop. Simply by placing another users finger on Touch ID, you can change the user logged in.

USB-C is here! On the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar - 4 ThunderBolt 3 ports are available. Anyone of the 4 ports can be used as a charging port or just about anything else.

Apple has announced they have worked with LG on making some new displays coming later this year. 27-inch 5k Display with Thunderbolt 3 connection allows your display to also be a docking hub for the new MacBook Pro. 21.5-inch 4k Display will also be available and has a confirmed shipping time of 6-8 weeks.
